Landscape & Biodiversity Integration

As a strategy to restore the ecosystem in the environment immediately after implementation, we adopted a photocatalytic covering.

Efficient construction and operations

Lean construction, low operating costs, flexible design, allowing different space arrangements and assembly in other locations.

Platform level with the bus, ensuring shorter boarding times. Minimal interference with the ground with only 4 supports and less use of concrete.

Aesthetic and Cultural Integration

The station's design is a simple response to the elementary demands of a bus shelter: Protecting against the region's intense rains and periods of sun, in addition to the function of converging and connecting people. We propose a space, whose ends project in relation to the base, functioning with a generous eaves, which protects from the sun and rain, evoking the landscape of Amazonian riverside architecture. Still under this idea, we adopted the chimney effect concept at the top of the roof, implementing glass fins that allow the roof to be aerated.

"We created a space where natural lighting humanizes the space: On a human scale, it allows decisions to be made about the route."
